Saturday update
I'm sorry I haven't blogged that much lately. I've been very busy. Hopefully I will have more time this week. I have several book reviews to write, I've tried the essie nail corrector and the bumble and bumble conditioner. I love them both by the way.

I just wanted to say thank you to all of my guests :) Thank you all for coming here to see my ramblings. I hope my ramblings means something to you all, and that you sometimes get the feeling that we have something in common or that I could teach you something. I know that I learn something new everyday, and I have still a lot to learn.. As most of you probably have guessed english is not my native languange and I make a lot of mistakes. Some of them are spelling mistakes, but most of them is genuine mistakes made because I don't know how to spell it correct or because I don't know the proper grammer. I hope this blog will help me be a better english writer.

Tuesday update
Yesterday I had a bad day, but I'm feeling better today. I love that it's slowly getting closer to spring, the wintermonths can be though. Right now I'm at school working, I have so much to do so I don't know where to start. (It's probably not helping that I'm here blogging lol)

movie review: the king's speech
Yesterday I was at the movies with two of my girlsfriends, we thought about seeing the movie black swan, but decided to see the movie the king's speech. I love Colin Firth. Especially in Bridget Jones. He's like the perfect mister Darcy. Who wouldn't want a guy like him? Please tell me who.. lol. That was one of the main reasons we decided to see this movie. We all love Colin Firth.
I hadn't heard that much about the movie or the theme of the movie before hand. I wonder what Buckingham Palace thought about this movie, and if they have approved of it's making.
This movie is about Queen Elizabeth's father (played by Colin Firth) who ends up being king of Britain, after his brother David abdicates because he wants to marry his girlfriend Wallis Simpsons, who had been married twice before. Because he was a king, that was out of the question, and his brother Albert became king instead. He called himself George as a king.
The problem was that Albert/George didn't want to become king, and he stuttered. And that's what this movie is about. I'm not gonna tell you more about the plot in the movie because that would ruin it all for you.
Both me and my two friends liked this movie. It have moments were you'll laugh, cry and smile. I tells a somewhat unknown story if the british royal family. The women who was the reason David abdicated Wallis Simpson is often quoted and praised in fashion magazines. Apparently she wasn't that pretty, but she was stylish.

Lazy saturday
Today I'm a bit tired (and lazy) after work. I've worked every saturday since christmas except one, so I feel like I'm entitled to. Lol. Not that I'm complaining. I need the money, and I appreciate the opportunity I've been giving. Even though I sometimes feel it's hard to get up in the morning, I still love my job.

Working out tips Nr1
As you all know one of my new years resolution is to work out more. So I'm gonna give you some of my work out tips along the way.
TIPS NR. 1: In the morning when you take your pants on, do 25 sit ups. The reason I do this is so that I have a routine. I put my pants on everyday, and when I do I remember that I need to take my daily sit ups. It's a habit now, I don't think about it I just do. Don't add up the numbers if you're not SURE if you can do them all EVERYDAY. The point of this exersise is to add a routine to your everyday life, which would hopefully give you a flatter tummy eventually. For this tips it's not about those quick results, but to make new habits.

Book review: The Help
I know I've already posted on book review this week, but I have to post one more. I started reading the book The Help by Kathryn Stockett a couple of days ago. I just couldn't put that book down. It is amazing. Like really truely amazing. At the backcover of the book it says that this book is unputdownable, and this book invents that word, if it wasn't invented before. It is a heartbreaking, heartfelt and mindblowing. I had to keep turning the pages to see what was happening next. The character's so real that they felt like my neighbours. I've read a quote once that says that you now that you've read a good book, when it feels like you've lost a friend after it's over. This book is like that. You wanna keep reading more and more, but as there are less and less unread pages, you wanna stop so you can keep some of the good stuff for tomorrow. Kind of like when you were a kid and got candy.
I've never been to Missisippi, and I sort of always wanted to go there. I grew up watching movies and tv series about The deep south and the KKK. I've never in my life been so afraid of anything as I've been of the KKK. I had nightmares forever after seeing Missippi burning. I can't image living in a society growing up where this wasn't a nightmare kinda phenomena, but a real one. That's why I think that books like this one is so important. We need to be reminded of how it was, and how it could go back if we forget about our collective past.
I know I've recommended a lot of books in this blog, but with this one I really mean it :) Go read it for yourself, you won't regret it

Movie review: Tangled
Last Saturday I went to the movies with my little niece. She wanted to see the new disney movie Tangled. This day was offcourse on of the days of the year when almost the entire city wanted to go to the movies (and see Tangled). The queue was the longest I'd ever seen. We almost didn't make it to the movie, so when we sat down the movie just started. I hate that because it ends up being a stressful experience, and you have to find your seats in the dark.

Despite this bad start we both enjoyed the movie. We both had a good laugh. I loved the white horse, and so did my 6 year old niece. She burst out laughing in the beginning when the horse is looking for Rider. He thinks he's a dog, she said between the laughs. We saw the 3D version, and I have to say the graphics is amazing. When Rapunzel sits in the boat watching the Laterns I was mesmerized by the images.
This is a lovely disney movie at it's best. Even though this is a new version of the old story with modern twists I love it. Go Disney

Book review : He's just not that into you
I'm sure a lot of you have missed my weekly book review.. LOL. I like to read and I read a variety of books. Lately I've read about one book a week. It depends on how exciting I think it is. Naturally.
Today I'm gonna review the book He's just not that into you. I'm one of those girls who loves everything Sex and the city. If they talk about a movie or a book I have to buy it. I'll tell you more about that later. Stay tuned!! So when I heard about the movie He's just not into, I had to see it.
I LOVE this movie. It just felt so right. I especially connected with Ginnifer Goodwin's character. She's adorable.
So when I saw this book on amazon, I thought this was the book behind the movie..

I have to admit when I realised this was a selfhelp book I was a bit disapointed. I wanted to read the story from the movie. Sigh. But I read the book anyway. Hoping it would be funny and quirky like the movie and sex and the city. Sadly it was not. I'm sure that to some this book has an empowering message, but not to me. Sorry writers but I'm not in one of the situastions you write about. I therefore wouldn't recommend this book to anyone who's not in some sort of relationship where the guy's not that into you. ( After reading the book you sort of get tired of reading the title)

Short updated
I'm sorry I haven't updated a frequently the last week as I really would like to do. I'm super busy with studies and work. Plus the last week my little niece had birthday so I had to go out and buy her a gift, make some cupcakes and attend the birthday. Whew it was hectic. She had 15 little girls for visit and they all wanted attention.

Cosmetic review
Yesterday I finally got my order from lookfantastic.com. I have ordered from them several times, but they have never taken this long before. This time I ordered Essie nail corrector and Weleda Iris face masque.

Today I will review the facemasque
I tried it yesterday (while watching sister wifes hehe. It's my guilt pleasure). My skin felt really smooth. I have a problem with my skin during the winter, and that is that it dries up really quickly. Like really quickly. So this felt really good for my skin. The packet suggested that I'd use it twice in a week so I'll give you a feedback early next week.
I'll review the essie corrector too.

Work out part deux
Just wanted to update you all. Today I had my first work out session for this week. I really wanna start work out more this year, as I have told you before.
Right now I'm watching grey's anatomy. It's really exciting so I'm probably typing a lot of mistakes here.
Back to my work out routine. At the moment I'm really out of shape so I just run on the treadmill for a while. I hope to get in better shape after a while so that I can add more to my program.
